Sincil Bank Jubilee

Updated: Sep 26, 2022

Friday 3rd June 2022, Sincil Bank Community came together to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and judging by the smiles on the day all had an enjoyable time. With several volunteers from the local community who, supported by staff from Lincoln City Foundation and City of Lincoln Council helped plan an amazing fun filled day. Pupils from both local primary schools, St Peter at Gowts Primary School and Bishop King decorated bunting to help decorate the street along Sincil Bank River. With games, crafts, balloon models, living statues, music from West End Girl and comedy from Sealestial it was a fun filled day.

Just something that somebody said, the next #streetparty will us residents still be able to park outside our own houses with the residents parking permits still?

Yeah, I went, only see it advertised on a poster when randomly went to Aldi.

Went twice during the day, didn't know anybody, no signs about residents parking, so left.

Went back to welding a broken metal frame for someone, yes the paint was thicker than the metal
