Sincil Bank Community Engagement Campaign Launches

Updated: Sep 26, 2022

The Sincil Bank Community Partnership have this week launched an engagement campaign to listen to the views and understand the needs of residents in the Sincil Bank area of Lincoln as we begin to emerge from the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.

To begin the campaign, the Partnership has written to every resident in the Sincil Bank area to connect with local people and offer support. Included within the letters, which have been hand delivered to each household, is a survey to give residents the chance to provide feedback and share their opinions on current attitudes and aspirations.

Joanna Okrasa, from Lincoln City Foundation explains further; “We understand the past months have affected us all in many ways, and now, as restrictions begin to lift, we want to work with local people to develop an improved future for the Sincil Bank area”

“Peoples’ personal circumstances may have changed due to the pandemic and they could need some extra support. Some people may also have been inspired during the pandemic to take action and explore further ways of building their local community. All views and experiences are important to us and we encourage residents to use this chance to have a say.”

The Partnership appreciates that everyone’s current lifestyle may be different, which is why a variety of methods are being offered for completing and returning the surveys before Friday 14th August:

  • Post completed surveys through the letter box at Sincil Bank Community Hub, 30 Portland Street, LN7 7JX

  • Call 07736 900341 or email community@lincolncityfoundation.co.uk and we can collect the completed survey from you

  • Bring it along to one of the drop-in ‘Community Conversation’ sessions:

    • Friday 7th August, 10am – 12 noon at Lincoln City Foundation, LNER Stadium

    • Friday 14th August, 4pm – 6pm at Lincoln City Foundation, LNER Stadium

  • Complete online at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/X2728NC

  • Alternatively, if you would rather have a chat with someone to share your views please call 07736 900341

The results of the engagement campaign will be used to inform the work of the Sincil Bank Community Partnership and will support the social action responses led by residents in the area during the year ahead.

We look forward to hearing from you!
